Postby Mnrogar » Fri May 29, 2009 3:27 am

The forums have been updated to the latest release of phpBB3 (3.0.4). There has also been a cleanup of inactive users and bots.

Please don't hesitate to report any problems that might have ensued in Forums discussion.

Thank you

PS: Sorry to Alby4t5 and Leno if my updating was prevented you from posting.;)

I had a momentary 2 hour lapse of "ohshit gotta go do stuff" so I never noticed it. *shrug* Also, yay update.

--Edit--
Is there an option to re-swap the post and user positions?

Of course not, why would they put a feature like that?

See what I did with the sarcasm there?

Anyway, I realized that had been changed right after posting and went to find a mod to change it back (because that's what I did last time) and from my post time I've just spent nearly 1 hour and a half failing big time. The mod I found doesn't seem to be working. *sigh*

Well, until you get it working, if any of you are using Firefox and Greasemonkey, install this:

I worked up a script a couple years ago to correct the problem for myself and whoever wanted it on another forum. It works here too.

By the by, BBCode is off. Smilies are gone. Updating's a bitch, eh? :P

Actually, I think that's just for this subforum, it works everywhere else.

Nope, html doesn't work either. :(

You should watch Three Men and a Little Lady to compound the confusion. :P

All the old posts seem to be fine. So for BBCode, its like Leno said, it's only here so it's probaly related to the permissions which are different in announcements, I'll try to find out. Your posts have BBCode turned off, mine don't so it might be user permission related.

I'll look into html as well
