ZED's Unoriginal White Sheet

The Slot guide v1.0T is now online, both on the Sheet and G'FAQs. I was worried it would be labelled overspecific, but I guess Ceej, in his mad rush to zero out his queues, has dropped his standards a little. Someone find Yoshi6400 and tell him to submit the Blitz guide again!

At any rate, there are sections gone to keep the G'FAQs crowd from running in fear (the long method namely), and a few additions, such as a quick ES/JD reference section just after the TOC and a Slot bug section which includes the new Muddle/heal/7-7-BAR Joker Doom anywhere method. If you have a problem with the guide, you know where to complain. :mrgreen:

9-08-04: The Sketch bug guide has been updated with minor but important additions, hence the small version number increase (+ .025).

The Sketch bug patch is also up. This one is made by Assassin and actually cuts the convicted function by seven bytes instead of taking up free space elsewhere like I would have. It also comes with an "anti-patch" that can remove the fix (which is a first for Sheet patches, hosted or not).

11-16-04: Attack guide v1.32 is now up. Well, it was put up a few days ago anyway. A couple unimportant Warp/Warp Stone additions made, but the important thing here is that Pincer/Side aiming has been added.

This is also an important note; Attack guide v1.32 is up at G'FAQs, however, it appears they're serious about the 80 character limit, and as such, it appears butchered. Since G'FAQs was always considered unnecessary and secondary to the Sheet anyway, the only doc that will ever be sent in from this point forward are new ones such as the Sketch bug guide which will be formatted to those specifications from the start. I will *not* reformat the Attack and Monster stats guides for those assholes nor should anyone do so for me.

So keep up with this board and the Sheet itself for updates on those two docs and the Glitches and Bugs guide (as you already should have been ;)). The only exception to this may be the Glitches and Bugs guide as it is in a constant state of change anyway. :D

Last note: the Glitches and Bugs guide will be updated by the end of next week as promised. I won't let both Thanksgiving and Black Friday slip by without a new version of the behemoth.

11-30-04: Glitches and Bugs guide v2.5 is up. 40 bugs and a real glitch on top of that. Only it turns out the glitch wasn't due to fast loading. Now I'm gonna have to test it on the PS1. If it turns out that the game just can't stand to be idle (which my FF3 cart could do, as could all my other games, sooo...), it's gonna be just another bug. Bleh.

12-14-04: Glitches and Bugs guide v2.6 is up. 2 bugs and several edits have been added and done, along with a reformat to an 80 character limit. The reason is simple; I'm uploading it to G'FAQs. Hopefully they'll accept it so I won't have to hear anyone suggest this again. :D

3-14-05: Sketch bug guide v1.08 is up. It's not finished (I still need all blanked spots on the item lists for example), but it's a nice important content update.

5-07-05: MK3 Control a NOOB v0.9 is up. This hack allows you to play as Noob Saibot on the SNES version of MK3, with a couple tweaks of my own anyway.

The only thing left incomplete is the character pic.

This is my first patc to include an anti-patch, BTW. Assembly notes are included for everything that's finished.

7-23-05: MK3 Control a NOOB v1.0 is up. This one corrects the character select pic problem and adds an alternate method to get Noob that's mode-independent. Basically, if Kano is selected by you or the CPU, you can switch him to Noob before the round starts by holding down Select (after the Vs. and cheat screens if they come up). 1P, 2P, or demo, doesn't matter.

Also, on 7-17, a new Controllable Rage patch was released to undo a mistake and create an alternate hack. I had accidentally hacked a C2 bank RNG in the previous version. Whoops. :oops:

ZED's Sheet: Dash button patch is up!

10-27-05: The Dash button patch is now up. Made on a random thought, anyone looking to add this once Anthology-only function to their ROMs should download this.

If you want it on your cart, the A patch is only four bytes, so you could take the commentary in the readme and make Game Genie codes if you wanted. :mrgreen:

I'm using my own update thread for this because of an issue with topic creation that I will get to in a moment.

The boards got hacked today, and unlike the last time, they deleted everything on the boards save for accounts (except Mnrogar's), PM's (your love letters should be safe ;)), and the mod board, which they used to change the main page to some red "\/\/3'R3 1337!!1" calling card atrocity. Mnrogar has restored everything up to January 6th with exception to the topic list; it's a backup from April of last year.

This is where we come to the part about why this topic is being temporarily edited; new topics are resulting in the restoration of the thread previously associated with the topic number. It is recommended that you do NOT post new topics until Mnrogar makes a statement otherwise; do so anyway and you're looking at a ban, or whatever other evil I feel like dishing out if I happen to be in a good mood.

As for that statement, it may come later today, or in a day or two. It depends on when Mnrogar can make time for it. Given the topic deal, we may be looking at a temporary closing until this is sorted out. Don't get freaked if that happens.

1-14-06: Yeah, nothing actually new, but thankfully I have an excuse to restore this topic back to normal. Only two sections are left unfinished (bugs and RNG users), and the latter one is only because I'm not sure how I should format it. Either PM me or start a thread on the FF3 board if you have suggestions. And yes, there will be new material in it such as a quick guide on Echo Screen/Joker Doom right at the start.

This guide will more than likely be previewed here first regardless (as the whole reason I'm making it is because I think it needs to go up on G'FAQs), so save other suggestions for when you see the thing.
